... To turn it to non basic-ness. You go to file and I think it should say advanced mode or something like that or basic mode with a check of no check near it. And the layer panel To make it come up, you can go to windows/panels in the tabs. Then it should say object panel for the objects, and the material panel for the materials But. I'm not sure if the unregistered one can go out of basic (I forgot XD)
Don't worry, I'm not bothered at all XD (though I can't garentee my explanation is the easiest to understand T w T) In the background : U I have a drawn picture with the front veiw and side veiw of a head. Then from the front, I shape it to the egg like shape This is achieved with -only- the y movement (y is up and down) (or the green axis XD) (oh yeah, and note the image is right behind the head) then you flip it to the side (also moving the image in the bg) and use the Z movement (the blue line; back and forth) and shape it to the image in the background! (I don't think I'm forgetting anything) AND. You can delete half of it at first, but I don't because sometimes I use the resizing tool, but after a while you can once the front view is shaped (the side isn't effected by the other half) And if you have other questions you can ask since I like answering XD
Well. You just select half of the circle, and press the delete button. Then you'll see this object panel (it's like the material panel). You double click the layer that the head/thing you want to mirror is on. Then somewhere in the window that comes up, it says mirroring. And it says Seperated/joined and something else I can't remember. I used separated for this. I think I have a picture of that window somewhere on this tutorial!
